Near Real Time Reports on Gun Violence in America

The Gun Violence Archive is an online archive of gun violence incidents collected from over 7,500 law enforcement, media, government and commercial sources daily in an effort to provide near-real time data about the results of gun violence. GVA is an independent data collection and research group with no affiliation with any advocacy organization.

https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/reports/mass-shooting is a good page to start with. there are also 0pages which show “Last 72 hours.” So information on GVA is rather moving and informational.

Is It Really Mental Illness?

The U.S. doesn’t suffer from a higher incidence of mental illness than other countries. What we do have is nearly half the privately-owned guns in the world, despite having just 4 percent of the world’s population. You have to be willfully ignorant to deny this as a big part of the explanation for why America has a dramatically higher number of gun deaths and incidents.

[Many] mass shooters have been on dangerous psychotropic or anti anxiety drugs. It’s the pink elephant in the that doesn’t get TV coverage since Big Pharma practically owns the networks. Even on the drug labels they have black box warnings of homicidal tendencies. Stop prescribing mind altering dope to children.
